Sedra
Arab
Social worker, anti-racism facilitator, researcher and activist. Bridging knowledge and collective action for racial justice, safer spaces and community healing.
Care and politics
are inseparable.
Sedra Arab is a Vienna-based social worker, anti-racism facilitator, translator and researcher. Her work, grounded in decolonial and intersectional frameworks, explores how communities build safer spaces as active practices of collective care, resistance and healing.
She holds a Master of Arts in Clinical and Spatial Social Work from FH Campus Wien and a Bachelor of Arts in Transcultural Communication from the University of Graz. Her practice resists the separation of care and politics, centering racial justice, migration and collective healing as sites of resistance rather than individual resilience.
She speaks Arabic and Kurdish as native languages, English and German at academic level and Turkish at a basic level.
